🧾 What is ADT-1?

ADT-1 is an eForm used to inform the Registrar of Companies (ROC) about the appointment of a company’s statutory auditor.

  • For newly incorporated companies, ADT-1 must be filed within 15 days of the first AGM
  • For auditor change/re-appointment, ADT-1 is also mandatory within 15 days of such a resolution

The statutory auditor appointed via ADT-1 will remain in position for 5 consecutive years unless replaced or resigned.
